For the third straight year UFC is visiting the Bell Centre, in Montreal, Canada for UFC 113 on May 8.
Canadian fans are looking forward card as Ontario boy, Lightweight sensation, “Hands of Stone” Sam Stout, as he takes on the “Lil’ Heathen” Jeremy Stephens of San Diego, California. Reminiscent of Stouts debut UFC fight, it’s Canada vs. the USA on May 08 2010.
Jeremy Stephens is 15-5, while Stout has the minor advantage at 16-5. Stephens has only just begun to gain momentum with a 1-win streak while Stout is also on a 2-win streak. This is going to be one heck of a slug-fest as both men know a thing or two about demolishing their opponents with strikes.
Jeremy Stephens won the honor of “Knockout of the night” twice in his UFC career and Sam Stout dazzled in kickboxing with a 16-4 record. Jeremy Stephens expertise lie in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing and Sam Stout specializes in Muay Thai and Kickboxing.
On a night where Lyoto Machida and Mauricio Rua battle it out in the main event for the Light heavyweight championship of the world, this lightweight battle on the under card could easily steal the show. There’s no telling what kind of havoc will go down when these two duke it out for country pride and a possible shot at the lightweight championship!
