UFC 118: Andre Winner vs. Nik Lentz Bout Preview

At the UFC 118 event, Andre Winner will take on Nik Lentz, scheduled to take place in Boston, MA. On the preliminary card, these two fighters will take on each other.

Andre, because of some of his recent appearance in “The Ultimate Fighter 9”, he is a fan favorite. In that program, he was a finalist but he hopes to move up in the world. To this point in his career, he has fought 14 fights and he has lost just three of them. In the UFC, he has spent 3 of those fights. He has had a fair amount of success in those fights, to this point. He lost one in his time in the UFC and he has won 2 fights.

To this point, Nik Lentz has had a fantastic career. Lentz has been tough to beat over the course of his career and he is known for his Midwest heritage. He has only lost three times in his 23 career fights. In his MMA career, he has compiled a record of 18-3-2. to this point, he has yet to lose a fight in the UFC.

He has managed two victories and another tie, out of his three career matches. In order to push his career towards main card portion of these UFC events, he would love to have a big victory here. In a non-televised portion of the UFC Fight Night 21 event was his last victory. Over Rob Emerson, he had an impressive decision victory.

At UFC 118, these two fighters will certainly try to prove their worth.

Nate Diaz vs. Marcus Davis UFC 118 Bout Preview

Nate Diaz and Marcus Davis will square off in a MMA bout at UFC 118. These two fighters will take on each other in a welterweight bout. This bout is highly anticipated and is scheduled to take place on the main card of the event. The event will take place in Boston, Massachusetts.

Diaz was recently on a poor streak and couldn’t seem to snap out of his slump. He was the former winner of “The Ultimate Fighter 5” and had a lot of support and fanfare as he came along. Unfortunately amid the fan fare he went on a streak where he dropped 3 out of 4 fights. He recently decided to make a change and to move up to a new weight class. In his new 170 lb weight class he made a splash.

In his first fight in the 170 lb weight class he managed to get a first round TKO against Rory Markham. This will be his first fight since that victory and many people will be hoping to see him bring his game back up to the level that it was once at.

Marcus Davis had a similarly poor streak recently. He had lost back to back fights and it appeared that he was on his way down. Davis managed to turn away the doubt. In his last match he managed to get a 2nd round TKO over Jonathan Goulet. This victory snapped his streak and put him onto the right path heading into UFC 118.

Tune in as these fighters square off and try to keep along the right path and don’t forget to check out the latest UFC 118 odds.

UFC 118 Main Event Preview: Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn

Frankie Edgar will fight B.J. Penn at UFC 118. This fight is anticipated to be a great matchup between these two fighters that matched up against each other just recently.

In their recent match, Edgar was able to take home the victory. This victory made him the champion of the UFC Lightweight division. The fight was an interesting fight. Normally there is a lot of excitement and great fighting taking place in a championship bout.

Unfortunately the fight wasn’t extremely exciting between these two fighters.

Penn was a little bit on the slow side compared to his usual self and really did not show forth his best effort. Edgar fought well, but certainly did not bring any earth shattering moves into the match. In the end the fight was extremely close. The closeness of the fight is probably the reason for the rematch in UFC 118.

The key and question in this fight will be Penn. Penn is clearly a talented fighter. Many people even know Penn as “The Prodigy.” Unfortunately Penn just did not show up in their last fight. If Penn comes with his best effort then you can expect a great match between Edgar and Penn when this match rolls around.

Edgar has all of the tools and he will need to bring them if he hopes to retain his belt. He has only lost once in his career to this point and it can be assured that he has no intention of losing this fight against Penn.

There is plenty of time so make sure you place your UFC bet on this fight
